Crochet projects

About two years ago I relearned how to crochet. My uncle's housekeeper taught me when I was a little girl, but I hadn't really done it in years. I have since then made:
- two granny square baby blankets for friends' babies (one using pink Lion Jiffy yarn, and might I add I'm annoyed they never even acknowledged the gift - and one out of mushroom and aran Lion WoolEase)
- another red and blue WoolEase granny square afghan for my DS (I learned to make granny squares from the Crochet Cabana site)
- lots of baby booties (using the Bev's Booties pattern)
- a few snowflakes, doilies and flowers from random free patterns
- a keyhole scarf and hat for my DS
- two sweaters and a nifty poncho and hat for my baby DD. The last two made from Trendsetter Blossom yarn. The poncho pattern (from the Candy Tots book) called for mohair, but I wanted something more washable. For the hat pattern I modified one from the Lion Brand free patterns. I have learned a lot about crochet and knitting from the Lion Brand site, so I'll always have a soft spot for them. OK, time to get out the camera and show you some photos I guess.
