A Working Mother's Lament

Last night I got home late after a work-related dinner, and realized I had promised to bake something for the PTO bake sale today. I hurriedly put my things down on the counter and got out a mixing bowl. While I was measuring flour my hand slipped and I proceeded to dredge my new Blackberry which was charging next to the bowl.

that sucks...hopefully it's not ruined forever.

I now remember how many times I did that to my own mother (not dredging the blackberry, but the last minute baking requests) and am reminded of how awesome moms are!

wow you're good! I probably would have done the old trick of buying something at the store/bakery, and disguising it in tinfoil as home made ;-)

Oh, if we could only count the times that something hair-brained (no, mommy-brained) has happened. I feel you, girl. Totally feel that pain.

Is the CrackBerry OK?

Flour is nothing compared to the eggbath. May there be a clause in your contract covering dredging.
